Parents are asked to oversee children's homework. The child's homework diary should show what is expected to be done on the days Mon - Thur. The diary is also used to communicate with the teacher.
Induction workshops for Primary 1 pupils' parents and annual workshops for other stages are arranged as appropriate.
Parents can request information about how to help their child at any time.
Staff are often asked for advice on how best to help with reading homework. We already offer advice on help with homework at different stages at workshops and parents' evenings, but would now like to extend that with some provision of examples of good practice in a podcast.
